After spending his first eight seasons with the Cincinnati Reds, which included a World Series title in 1990, former outfielder Eric Davis moved to the West and joined the Los Angeles Dodgers. Before joining the Dodgers, Davis had hit 203 home runs and batted .271 in those eight seasons with the Reds.
Davis wore this Rawlings size 44 button-down road gray jersey during his first Spring Training with the Dodgers in 1992. “Dodgers” is sewn across the chest in blue and white tackle twill with a paraph, while “33” is sewn on below the “Dodgers on the front left. “DAVIS” and “33” are sewn directly to the back of the jersey and each sleeve end has a white/blue/white band. The red Rawlings tag has a “SET 1 1992” patch which covers the size and an additional tag that has “MINUS 1 ½” SLEEVE”. The jersey shows light to moderate use and is pinpointed to Spring Training based on the absence of the “30th Anniversary Dodger Stadium” patch that was worn during that season and no Rawlings tag on the sleeve as Major League Baseball had signed a contract with Russell Athletic for the 1992 season. This jersey comes a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
