Former infielder Bret Boone spent 14 years in the Major Leagues with five different teams. During that time Boone, was a three-time all-star and won the Gold Glove Award four times.
Boone spent his only season in San Diego in 2000 and wore this size XL button-down tan San Diego Padres “1969 Turn Back The Clock” jersey. Manufactured by Mitchell & Ness of Philadelphia, PA, this flannel gold jersey features “SAN DIEGO” sewn across the chest in brown and yellow tackle twill. The back of the jersey has his number “29” sewn on in brown felt on yellow tackle twill. The left sleeve has a commemorative “SAN DIEGO 1769-1969” patch, similar to the ones worn by the 1969 team. Two Mitchell & Ness tags appear, with one on the inside back neck and one on the bottom left front tail. This jersey shows light wear and Boone signed his name in black marker above his name on the back. This jersey comes with a LOA from Bret Boone and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
