Gary Sheffield was wearing the Yankees pinstripes when he connected with a Rodrigo Lopez pitch for his 417th career home run. One of the most prolific home run hitters of the 1990’s, Gary Sheffield finished his career with 509 home runs – and this bat was used to hit one of them. This Rawlings 170B model bat shows outstanding use and is un-cracked. After hitting number 417, Sheff retired the bat and signed the barrel with the inscription “#11 Career #417 4-16-05 vs Baltimore pitcher Rodrigo Lopez” in silver pen. An outstanding bat used to hit a specific home run. This bat comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA (1B10297) who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10 and a COA from PSA/DNA (AB98602).
