Pittsburgh Penguins superstar and two-time Stanley Cup winner Sidney Crosby wore this black mesh Reebok Pittsburgh Penguins jersey during the 2011-12 season. Due to lingering concussion symptoms, Crosby was limited to 22 games during the 2011-12 season, scoring eight goals and had 29 assists for 37 points as the Penguins finished with 51-26-6 record totaling 108 points and good enough for second in the Eastern Conference’s Atlantic Division.
This jersey has the Penguins logo in the center in black and gold tackle twill and a captain’s “C” is on the upper left chest. The collar is trimmed in black and gold with the NHL logo patch. A white and gold pattern runs up the sleeves. The collar has the Reebok size 56 label and the inner tag has the team and season identification. The shoulders have Crosby's number "87" in white, black and gold tackle twill. Back has "CROSBY" in white, black and gold tackle twill on a matching black name plate and his number in the same colors and material below. A fight strap is sewn on the inside back below the number and a team tag is sewn on the inside lower back tail and reads “PITTSBURGH PENGUINS 2011-2012 Game Jersey Set 2 PP#122502 Head equipment manager: Dana Heinze”. The jersey shows moderate game use and shows some loose threads.
This jersey comes with a COA from the Pittsburgh Penguins signed by James Santilli, Vice President of Marketing and Dana Heinze, Equipment Manager.
