Official National League baseball (Chub Feeney, Pres) signed on the sweet spot by former Yankee Elston Howard. Howard single signed balls are very rare, due to his death in 1980, and extremely hard to find with a sweet spot signature placement. Howard enjoyed a very successful career with the Yankees winning the 1963 American League MVP. Howard also has the distinction to be the 1st black player to play in a Yankee uniform.
