Official National League baseball (Warren Giles, Pres) signed on the side panel by former Brooklyn Dodger pitcher Karl Spooner. Single signed Spooner balls are nearly impossible to find and by far the hardest of all the '55 Dodgers to come by. A member of the 1955 Brooklyn Dodger World Championship team, Spooner was forced to retire after the '55 season due to a severe arm injury after pitching just 2 seasons in the majors. Spooner passed away in 1984 at the age of 52. A full JSA Letter of Authenticity comes with this ball.
