1973 Reggie Jackson Game Used 1972 World Series Issued Hillerich & Bradsby Bat PSA/DNA LOA In the deciding game of the 1972 American League playoffs, Reggie Jackson sparked the A’s to victory by pulling off a miraculous game-tying steal of home. The run wasn’t the only thing he pulled – he severely injured his hamstring and had to sit on the bench while his team beat the Reds for the World Championship. This bat was specially manufactured for Reggie’s use in the 1972 Series, but like him, it sat idle in the A’s dugout. The Hillerich & Bradsby J93 model bat is un-cracked and shows moderate use. The bat carries the special “1972 WORLD SERIES” stamping and although manufactured for the ’72 Series, Jackson did not play. The wear on this bat has been attributed to the 1973 season. A great World Series-specially made bat used by Mr. October himself. This bat comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA (1B10332).
