The 1964 World Series would be the last Fall Classic that featured the dynasty quartet of Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Roger Maris and Yogi Berra. In a thrilling seven-game series the St. Louis Cardinals topped the Yankees in the deciding game 7-5 as Bob Gibson, who would be named Series MVP, out-dueled Mel Stottlemyre. It was also the last ever postseason game at the original Busch Stadium. This game was also significant as this would be the last World Series home run for Mickey Mantle, who ended up hitting a record 18 home runs. His three-run home run in the sixth inning of Gibson cut the Cardinal lead to 6-3. Offered is a full ticket from this historic game. This 2 x 6 ¾ inch ticket has a blue tone with blue and red printing. The face value for this “PAVILION” ticket is $4.00. This full ticket has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (23204686) and has been graded AUTHENTIC.
