Here is a truly remarkable collection of NY Mets home game programs. It is the complete run of every edition ever issued from the very beginning in 1962 through 2015; Polo Grounds to Shea Stadium to Citi Field. Every cover ever made. In the early years of 1962 and 1963 the Mets used the same cover for all 81 home games. From 1964 thru 1980 the Mets issued between 1 and 3 covers each year. Starting in 1981 the Mets started frequently changing the covers, and for many years adopted a formula of changing covers after every other home stand. In later years they have reduced to approximately 1 a month. What makes this collection more than just complete is that every edition is UNSCORED, and in as good a condition as one can ever find. Finding a complete run is more difficult than one can think, as a number of these programs took many years to find. For example the Tim Bogar 1993 program in an unscored condition took our collector almost 20 years to find. It was issued only during the last home stand which was poorly attended. The Mets would customarily discard all unsold programs when the newer editions were published. This is truly a collection for any serious Mets collector.
