Recently retired Peyton Manning is one of the all-time great NFL quarterbacks. Manning, who played the first 13 years of his career with the Indianapolis Colts, capped off his soon-to-be Hall of Fame career by winning Super Bowl 50 for the Denver Broncos. It is Manning’s winning ability and durability that allowed him to play and start the first 208 games of his career.
Offered is the helmet Manning wore during the 2003 season, where he led the NFL in completions (379), yards (4,267) and completion percentage (67%) as the Colts finished first in the AFC South with a 12-4 record and made it all the way to the AFC Championship game. This Riddell “Revolution” helmet shows nice wear, with multiple scrapes on the front and back. The Riddell name appears on front and back with the “COLTS” name covering the reverse. Above this is Manning’s number “18” with the NFL logo and American Flag sticker. Within the helmet is a full gel cushion shock system with the obligatory warning labels and the “All-American L” size shield sticker. There is no chin strap on this helmet. Manning has signed and inscribed this helmet "2003 M.V.P." and it is a limited edition 1 of 1. While he finished his career with the Denver Broncos, Manning will always be remembered for his time with Indianapolis, similar to another former Colts legend named Johnny Unitas. This helmet comes with a COA from Upper Deck Authenticated (BAJ19186).
