After graduating from Syracuse University in 1966, Floyd Little served nine seasons in the NFL as a running back for the Denver Broncos. With the Broncos, Little amassed 6,323 career rushing yards, scored 43 touchdowns and was a 5-time Pro Bowler. Little’s stellar career led him to be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010.

Offered is one of the last jerseys Little wore in the NFL during the 1975 season, where capped off his career with 445 yard on 125 carries in 14 games with Denver. This size 42-44 Sand-Knit heavy mesh jersey features Little’s number “44” screen printed in white with blue outlines on the front, back and sleeves. “LITTLE” is sewn on in white tackle twill on a thick matching orange nameplate and appears above the back number.

Each sleeve has two outer blue stripes and one center white stripe screen-printed. Two white tags are sewn on the bottom front tail. The first tag, which is 1 ½ x 2 inches, reads “Designed and Tailored Exclusively for the DENVER BRONCOS AMERICAN FOOTBALL CONFERENCE by Sand-Knit MEDALIST INDUSTRIES”. The second white tag has the washing instructions and reads “LARGE (42-44) Sand-Knit”. The jersey shows excellent game use with stains on the front, abrasions to the numbers and some team repairs. Little has signed his name in black marker to the right of his nameplate on the back of the jersey.

This jersey was also on display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio for four years after his induction in 2010. The placard from when the jersey was on display at the Hall-of-Fame is included in this lot. This game used and signed jersey also comes with a full LOA from Floyd Little, attesting to the game use of the jersey in 1975 and a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07862) for his signature on the jersey.
