In 15 starts for the 2015 New Orleans Saints, quarterback Drew Brees led the NFL in completion yards with 4,870. During the Saints 20-17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome on January 3, 2016, Brees led the way going 32-42, with 323 yards passing, one touchdown, and a QB rating of 105.6.
Brees wore this size 44 white Nike On-Field Skill-Cut jersey during the January 2016 game in Atlanta. This jersey shows excellent game use with numerous marks and sweat stains, consistent with playing on FieldTurf. Brees’ number “9” is sewn on the front, back and shoulders in black on gold tackle twill. On the back of the jersey, “BREES” is sewn on in black and gold on a matching white name plate and the Saints Fleur-de-lis are sewn on in black and gold on each sleeve. The sleeves have been tailored pro-cut style to fit around the shoulder pads and the v-neck collar has the NFL shield sewn on in vinyl. Also on the upper front right of the jersey is a captain’s “C” patch with four stars sewn on in black and gold. The Nike manufacturer’s tag with “2014” and “3”L.B” flap are sewn on the inside back neck.
Brees signed his name in black marker on the back of the jersey to the left of his number and inscribed “Love competing against you” and “9”. This jersey comes with a full LOA from MeiGray (152839), who have photo-matched this jersey to the January 3, 2016 game and a full LOA from JSA (Z02788) who have authenticated his signature and inscriptions.
