Former NFL wide receiver Hines Ward spent his entire 14-year career with the Pittsburgh Steelers where helped lead the Steelers to two Super Bowl victories. In 2003, the great wide receiver had a solid season with 95 receptions, 10 touchdowns and 1,163 yards receiving as Pittsburgh finished with a 6-10 record.

      Offered is the black home size 40 Reebok mesh jersey worn by Ward for several games throughout the 2003 season. Ward’s number “86” is sewn on in white tackle twill on the front, back and shoulders with the “Steelers” logo patch sewn on the upper left chest. “WARD” is sewn on in yellow on a matching black mesh nameplate above the back number. The shortened sleeves feature the traditional yellow, black and white Steelers striping and the “NFL EQUIPMENT” shield patch is sewn on the base of the v-neck. A 1 x 2 ¼ inch white tag with “03-40” is sewn on the inside back neck which indicates the year and size of the jersey. This jersey shows moderate game use with minor scuffs, number crinkling and a small repair on the right sleeve. Ward signed his name in black marker on the “6” on his back number and inscribed “86”. This game used and signed jersey comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07623) and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
