Former Los Angeles Lakers’ power forward Pau Gasol wore this size 3XL (LENGTH +4”) purple road jersey during the 2011-12 season. Gasol averaged 17.4 points per game during that season as the Lakers finished first in the Pacific Division with a 41-25 record. This jersey was worn by Gasol throughout the 2011-12 season, including the 2012 playoffs. The jersey has been specifically photo matched to Games 3 and 4 of Round 1 versus the Denver Nuggets as well as the April 18th game at Golden State by John Robinson of Resolution Photomatching. This jersey shows heavy use indicating that it was potentially worn in many more games, but these three dates were the only high resolution images from that time frame tha could definitely be used to see a photo match.
This purple mesh jersey with white and gold trim has “Lakers” across the front in gold and white tackle twill with Gasol’s number “16” in white mesh with gold and purple tackle twill trim and NBA logo patch on the left front shoulder. “GASOL” is on the back in gold and white tackle twill above his number 16 in the same white mesh with purple and gold trim as the front. A NBA Authentic, ClimaCool/Adidas size 3XL manufacturer’s labels with (LENGHT+4”) flag tag is are affixed on the left front tail with the identification number of “LLA00267”.
