Official American League (Cronin) baseball has been signed by thirty-one members of the A.L. Champion Yankees. Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris have both signed the ball, as have fellow hall of famers Casey Stengel, Yogi Berra and Bill Dickey. Baseball is also signed by Elston Howard, Ed Lopat, Frank Crosetti, Ralph Houk, and more. The ball has fading in parts but Mantle is dark and bold and Maris is clearly legible.
