With the 1956 World Series knotted at two games apiece, Don Larsen took the mound for the New York Yankees during the pivotal Game 5. In his previous start, Larsen didn’t make it out of the second inning as the Brooklyn Dodgers scored six runs (four unearned) in the second inning of Game 2, en route to the 13-8 victory. Larsen’s Game 5 start turned into the historic perfect game that propelled the Yankees to the World Series title. This 2 x 7 inch ticket is yellow and purple with black, blue and red print. The face value of this ticket is $10.50 from the “LOWER STAND”. This full ticket from that historic game has been encapsulated in a 7 ½ x 10 ½ inch SGC holder and graded AUTH.
