Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout has had the greatest first four years in baseball history. The Angels star has played in every All-Star Game since his rookie year, won the American League Rookie of the Year Award in 2012, finished second in the American League MVP voting twice, and was named the AL MVP in 2014. Trout’s 2016 season is on pace to be as great as his previous four seasons.
Offered is this heavily game used Los Angeles Angels home button-down jersey worn by Trout during the June 11, 2016 game against the Cleveland Indians in which he was 2-4, scoring one run in the Angels 4-3 walk-off victory. The Majestic CoolBase jersey features “ANGELS” sewn on across the chest in red, navy blue, white and silver tackle twill, with his number “27”sewn on the left center chest in red and blue. Red piping runs around the collar and a ½ inch above the sleeve ends. The back of the jersey has “TROUT” and “27” sewn on in red and blue tackle twill with a vinyl MLB logo patch sewn on the upper neck. The left sleeve has an “ANGELS BASEBALL 1961” circular patch, while the right sleeve has the “A” with halo patch. The Majestic tag is screen-printed on the lower front left tail, while the Angels bar code tag is screen-printed vertically along the bottom front right button area.
Trout signed his name in silver marker on the upper part of the “2” on his “27” and inscribed “16 G/U”. The jersey shows outstanding game use with a large dirt stain that covers most of the right side front of the jersey, along with some additional staining on the lower back of the jersey. This jersey comes with a full LOA from Anderson Authentics (1988), authenticating the game use and signature of this jersey, along with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 822615) authenticating the game use of this jersey during the June 11, 2016 game.
