     Offered are fifteen singled-signed and some inscribed baseballs from New York Yankees’ greats of the 1970s and 1980s. All of the baseballs are Official Major League Allan H. Selig and have been signed on the sweet spots in blue ink, with the exception of Graig Nettles. Graig Nettles signed his name on the sweet spot on this Official American League Gene A. Budig baseball that comes with COA from JSA (M10572). Nettles also signed his name and inscribed “ONCE A YANKEE, ALWAYS A YANKEE” on the OML Selig baseball which comes with a COA from Steiner Sports. Ron Guidry signed his name and inscribed “Louisiana Lightning” which comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 366979). Chris Chambliss’ signed baseball is inscribed “1976 ALCS WALK OFF HR”.

     There are two baseballs signed by Bucky Dent. The first baseball has no inscription and just his name across the sweet spot, which has a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 276703) and a FANATICS hologram (0401326). The other Dent signed baseball has the inscription “Bronx Zoo” and comes with a COA from Steiner Sports. Sparky Lyle signed and inscribed two baseballs, with the first ball having the “Bronx Zoo” inscription, which comes with a COA from Steiner Sports, and the second baseball inscribed “77 Cy Young” which comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (U73169). Ron Blomberg’s signed baseball has the inscription “1st A.L. D.H. 4/6/73” and comes with a COA from Steiner Sports.

     The remaining baseballs in this lot feature Dave Winfield, whose signature displays slight bleeding but is still in good condition and inscribed “HOF 2001”. The Winfield signature comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 756061) and a Steiner COA. Dave Righetti signed and inscribed “No Hitter 7-4-1983” and inscribed on the side panel “The Best Birthday Gift I Ever Gave George”. This Righetti baseball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 701180) and a COA from Steiner COA. Mickey Rivers’ signed baseball is inscribed “Steinbrenner Yankee” and comes with a COA from Steiner Sports. Rich “Goose” Gossage’s signed baseball is inscribed “Boston Sucks” and comes with a COA from Steiner Sports. Don Mattingly’s signed baseball is not inscribed and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 678042) and a COA from Steiner Sports and Lou Piniella’s signed baseball is inscribed “1990 WSC” and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ 949703) and a COA from Steiner Sports.
