The 1959 Chicago White Sox finished five games ahead the second place Cleveland Indians to win the American League pennant for the first time since 1919. Their 94-60 record led them to the World Series, where they fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers in six games. 18 members of that historic team signed this 6 ½ x 9 inch color team photograph. All of the signatures are in bold blue marker and include: Hall of Famers Early Wynn, Al Lopez (manager) and Luis Aparicio. Other signatures include: Earl Battey, Johnny Callison, Jerry Staley, Ron Jackson, Jim Rivera, Rudy Arias, Jim Landis, Turk Lown, Barry Latman, Al Smith, Johnny Romano and four others. This photograph comes with a full LOA from JSA (Y72568).
