Offered is a team signed baseball from the 1969 season, which was the first appearance by Thurman Munson, who played in only twenty-six games that season and did not qualify as a rookie. Twenty-four members of that team have signed this Official Pro League baseball in black and blue ink. Munson’s signature appears on the side panel in blue ink, right below the signature of Horace Clark and above Fritz Peterson’s signature. Mel Stottlemyre’s signature is in blue pen across the sweet spot and other signatures include Al Downing, Steve Hamilton, Hall of Famer Bobby Cox and several others. The signatures of Joe Pepitone, Bobby Murcer and Jack Acker have been deemed clubhouse versions, a common practice during that era.
