It’s one thing to have a game used bat, but it’s a whole new ballgame when that bat can be matched to a specific game. This Tucci bat has been photo-matched to shots taken of Xander Bogaerts batting in the bottom of the second inning of the May 22, 2016 game against Cleveland. Bogaerts had a day of days, going 3 for 5 with a run scored and a RBI. A copy of the photo used to photo-match the bat is included. A check of Getty Images show this bat, with the distinctive red and white lizard skin tape, being used during the 3-game home set against Cleveland, as Xander collected 6 total hits in the midst of his 26 consecutive game hit streak run.

The Tucci TL-KFP48-M model bat shows outstanding use with a cracked handle. The barrel shows many ball marks with stitch impressions along with blue ink transfers and white leather ball scuffs. Cleat imprints can be seen on the barrel. The handle has been taped with a spiral of “Lizard Tape” and a moderate coat of Mota Stick has been applied. To complete the bat Bogaerts has signed the barrel in black marker adding “GU 16”. This bat comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Anderson Authentics and LOAs from PSA/DNA (1B10184 & AA07806) who have graded this bat a GU 9.
