Played at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas, the 1968 All-Star Game was won by the National League 1-0, on a first inning run-scoring double play after Willie Mays reached on a single to start the inning.

     This Official American League Joseph E. Cronin baseball has been signed by twenty-two members of the 1968 American League All-Star team. Manager and Hall of Famer Dick Williams signed his name on the sweet spot in black pen. A side panel has the signatures of Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle, Mel Stottlemyre, Ken Harrelson, Rick Monday, Denny McLain and Cal Ermer. On another side panel are the signatures of Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew, Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski, Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson, Bert Campaneris, and Bill Freehan. The side panel with the “CUSHIONED CORK CENTER” stamp, have the signatures of Jim Fregosi, Don Wert, Hall of Famer Rod Carew, Darrell Johnson, Boog Powell, and Frank Howard. The last panel has the signatures of Davey Johnson, Johnny Odom, Tony Oliva and Gary Bell. This multi-signed baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07993).
