David Wright has been the face of the New York Mets franchise for the better part of the last decade. Despite injuries and reduced playing time in recent years, Wright still remains a fan-favorite. The 2006 season was one of Wrights better seasons as he belted 26 home runs, drove in 116 runs and had a solid .311 batting average as the Mets made to the seventh game of the 2006 NLCS.

      Wright wore this button-down Majestic New York Mets pinstripe jersey during the September 9, 2006 game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Shea Stadium. Wright had a perfect 3-3 day that included a double and two RBI as the Mets knocked off the visiting Dodgers 4-3. This size 48 (+1” BODY) jersey features “Mets” scripted across the chest in blue, orange and black tackle twill. The jersey displays outstanding game used with dirt stains across the front and black markings on the right sleeve. “WRIGHT” and his number “5” have been sewn on directly to the back of the jersey in the same blue, orange and black pattern. The left sleeve has the circular Mets cityscape logo and the Majestic tag, along with the (+1 BODY), size (48) and year (2006) flaps are sewn on in the inside front left tail. The 2006 flap is faded but still readable.
