Barry Bonds finished 1997 with a distinction no other player will ever boast; tying his own father’s MLB record for most 30/30 seasons. Bonds hit 40 homers and drove in 101 runs. The following season Bonds hit home run 500, making him the sole member of the 500 Home Runs/500 Stolen Bases Club. The Young Y20 model bat is un-cracked and shows excellent use. There are several ball marks on the barrel with black ink transfers a moderate coat of pine tar on the handle. Bonds’ initials “BB” and model “Y20” are stamped into the knob and the weight “32” is written in black marker. Bonds has signed the barrel in blue marker. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10267) who have graded this bat a GU 8.5 and an additional LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07809) for the signature.
