1964 Roger Maris New York Yankees Home Pinstripe Game Used Pants (Mears Authentic)

To many, Roger Maris remains the true single season home run king with 61 hoe runs in 1961. WInner of back to back MVP awards in 1960 and 1961, he was a key component of the Yankee World Series teams in the 1960s. We offer a part of his uniform from the last Yankee World Series team of that great decade, 1964. Manufactured by Spalding. The waist band reads, “Maris 9 64 36 24 ins“. 64-9-36 is written in black marker in the inner waistband. Pants remain in excellent condition and show signs of heavy game wear. Maris played in almost every game that season having one of his most consistent and productive years in the majors. MEARS LOA graded "Authentic". Mears does not give numerical grades to pants, but if they did, we should be looking at a '10'.
