As the cornerstone of the Mets unstoppable starting rotation in 2015, Jacob deGrom was tabbed to start the first post-season game against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS. deGrom surpassed all the expectations placed on him when he struck out 13 Dodgers and threw 7 shutout innings for his first of three post-season victories.
This is the Jersey deGrom wore that night in Los Angeles. The grey road jersey has “NEW YORK” arched across the chest in Mets blue and orange tackle twill. deGrom’s number “48” is sewn below in the same color tackle twill. Blue piping runs around the neck and down the front. Majestic size 46 label is in the lower left front tail with an MLB hologram (HZ 836412) affixed. A Majestic code label is affixed below with “48 deGROM 46 2015 PS1” stamped onto it. The left sleeve has the Mets logo patch and the right carries the special 2015 Post Season patch. Each sleeve opening is trimmed in blue piping. The back has “deGROM” and his number “48” in blue and orange tackle twill.
The jersey exhibits light wear with some turf and pine tar stains visible along with a few small snags in the Cool Base fabric and several stray threads on the lettering. This is a great jersey worn during a real lights-out post-season pitching performance and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 836412).
