In 2014, New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter capped off what will certainly be a Hall of Fame career. When it was all said and done, “The Captain” finished with 3,465 career hits, a .310 batting average and 260 home runs. The final home run of his storied career came on September 18th at Yankee Stadium off Toronto pitcher R.A. Dickey in the sixth inning of the Yankees 3-2 victory.
Offered is a baseball that was used during the September 18th game. Showing extensive game use with numerous dirt and scuff marks, this Official Alan H. Selig baseball also features a commemorative “Derek Jeter” logo on the side panel. The sweet spot OML Selig logo is worn significantly and Jeter signed his name in blue pen below the “Derek Jeter” logo on the side panel.
