Offered in this lot are three identical 1998 Official American League Gene A. Budig Baseballs signed by Orioles shortstop and baseball’s “Ironman” Cal Ripken Jr. The Official AL baseballs feature a Ripken Orioles stamp on the east panel on two of the balls, and west panel on one of the balls. All three baseballs have been signed in blue ink on the sweet spot and inscribed: “2632 Consecutive Games” commemorating him passing Lou Gehrig’s record for most consecutive games played. These three baseballs are a great collector’s item for any baseball fan and these pieces of American sports history have been pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
