Presented is an official Steiner expressionist painting of Football Hall of Fame Quarterback Joe Namath, by the late American painter LeRoy Neiman. Namath can be seen in his New York Jets uniform with the painting covered in a greenish hue, brilliantly capturing this moment in time. Both Neiman’s and Namath’s signatures are written in black ink over Namath’s “12” on his jersey. Written directly underneath the painting is “NEW YORK JETS vs. CINCINNATI BENGALS Shea Stadium November 23, 1969 Official Program 75¢”. This game finished with a victory for the Jets 40 – 7 and this painting is matted in black with a green and white trim and framed in a 22 ½ x 19 inch dimension.
