The keystone of the revamped 2009 Yankees pitching staff was the newly acquired CC Sabathia. The giant southpaw began his career in pinstripes by being given the honor of starting the first game in the new Yankee Stadium. Sabathia won 19 games with a 3.37 ERA and was named “American League Championship Series MVP” on the way to the Yanks winning the 2009 World Series. This Nike cleat has been signed “CC Sabathia 52 Game Used 2009 WS Champs” in blue marker along the toe. Back of the shoe has Sabathia’s number “52” embroidered in white and the hand written “B” notation in black marker under it. Stickers from Steiner and CC Sabathia are affixed to the right of the number. Shows game use and comes with a certificate of authenticity from Steiner Sports Memorabilia.
