Offered here is a retro Leatherhead football helmet signed by NFL Hall of Famer Franco Harris. Harris was part of one of the most infamous plays in football history, the “Immaculate Reception”, when he snatched a victory from the jaws of defeat for the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 1972 playoff game against the Oakland Raiders. Harris finished his career with 12,120 rushing yards, placing him 12th on the all-time list. This helmet, a replica of the type worn in the early days of football, is dark brown, with Franco’s signature on the front signed in gold Sharpie. This item comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (7A88428).
