Presented here is a signed and inscribed glove from “The Iron Man” Cal Ripken Jr. A powerful hitter as well as an excellent fielder, Ripken anchored the Baltimore Orioles infield for 21 years and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2007. Ripken is best known for his streak of 2,632 consecutive games played, which surpassed “The Iron Horse” Lou Gehrig by 502 games. This black, 12” Rawlings Playmaker glove is autographed in gold Sharpie by Ripken and inscribed with “2131 Consecutive Games,” the last of which eclipsed Gehrig’s 56-year-old record. This glove is in pristine condition and comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (7A88059).
