Offered here is a ring side bell signed by legendary pugilists Thomas “Hitman” Hearns and “Sugar” Ray Leonard. The careers of Hearns and Leonard are intertwined due to their legendary fight in 1981. “The Showdown” pitted welterweight champion Leonard vs the undefeated Hearns and went on for 14 rounds, ending in controversy when the fight was stopped in favor of Leonard. This 15 x 13 inch black Ringside bell is signed in gold Sharpie pen by Hearns and Leonard and represents a golden era in welterweight boxing, presided over by Leonard, Hearns, Roberto Duran, and Marvin Hagler.
