Offered in this lot are two items signed by key members of the mid-1970s Cincinnati Reds “Big Red Machine”. The first item is a Rawlings baseball with a red panel and sweet spot that has the Reds logo embroidered in white and black with the signatures of Hall of Famer Johnny Bench and Pete Rose in black marker. The opposite red panel has the black marker signature of Hall of Famer Joe Morgan below the Rawlings stamp with the inscription “Big Red Machine”. The adjacent panels are a toned white with red pin stripes and the MLB logo embroidered on the sweet spot.

      The second item in this lot is an off-white left cleat manufactured by Brooks that has been signed in gold marker by Johnny Bench, Pete Rose and Joe Morgan. Morgan’s and Bench’s signatures are on the outer toe areas, while Rose’s signature appears on the outside ankle. “BIG RED MACHINE” is also written in gold marker on the instep. Bench’s signatures on the baseball and cleats come with individual COAs from PSA/DNA (7A49162 – Baseball, 7A49216 – Cleat) while the remaining signatures have been pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
