Presented here is an autographed lithograph of Super Bowl XXIX, by Peter Max. Super Bowl XXIX was played on January 29, 1995 between the San Diego Chargers and the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers would go on to win this Super Bowl with a score of 49 – 26, becoming the first team to win five Super Bowls. Quarterback Steve Young of the 49ers would be awarded Super Bowl MVP, having thrown a Super Bowl-record six touchdown passes, completing 24-36 passes for 325 yards.
This lithograph includes a colorful San Francisco 49ers helmet in the center, with “Super Bowl XXIX” inscribed at the top in silver ink, while under the picture, is inscribed “MAX 95”. MVP Steve Young has signed the bottom of this piece in silver ink. This piece is matted and framed standing 23 x 23 inches. The frame shows some light scratches in the center, but has not damaged or cracked the screen. Included with this piece is a LOA from PSA/DNA (AB11563).
