The New York Yankees have had dominating teams in their storied history, but probably no more dominating of a team than the 1998 team. Setting a then-record going 114-48, the Bronx Bombers steam rolled through the American League and won the World Series by sweeping the San Diego Padres. All told the Yankees won 125 games (including post season).

Offered is an Official Ball 1998 World Series Allan H. Selig baseball signed by 20 members of that historic team. The baseball is in excellent shape with all of the stampings in bold red print and all of the signatures have been signed in blue pen. On the sweet spot is the signature of manager Joe Torre with “24th WS Champs” inscribed below. The panel with the red Rawlings stamp has the signatures of David Wells, Mariano Rivera, Tino Martinez (who inscribed “GM 1 GRAND SLAM) and Tim Raines. The panel with the World Series logo stamp has the signatures of Derek Jeter, Chuck Knoblauch, Daryl Strawberry and David Cone. The panel to the left of the stamped sweet spot has the signatures of Bernie Williams, Ramiro Mendoza, Jay Tessmer, Shane Spencer, Jeff Nelson, Paul O’Neill and Jeff Nelson again (inscribed “43 0.00 ERA”). The panel to the right of the stamped sweet spot has the signatures of Andy Pettitte (inscribed “Game 4 Clincher”, Jorge Posada, Orlando Hernandez and Joe Girardi. This baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA.
