      Offered here is a lot of nine different pieces of Cal Ripken Jr. autographed memorabilia. The first item is a 14 ½ x 11 inch photograph of Ripken taking a curtain call at Camden Yards after his 2,131st consecutive game played on September 6, 1995. This game, which surpassed Lou Gehrig’s record for consecutive games played, was one of the most watched events in baseball history at the time. Ripken signed his name below the photograph in black pen.

      The second item in this lot is a souvenir Coke bottle from 1995 signed by Ripken. This unopened bottle features the Orioles logo and a picture of Ripken’s jersey, along with text that states, 1995 The Record Breaking Year!”. Ripken signed his name on this bottle in silver Sharpie pen.

      The next item is a 24 x 36 inch poster of Ripken that is an ad for Esskay Hot Dogs. This beautiful full color poster features Ripken sitting at his locker, which is full of Esskay franks, grilling hot dogs. Ripken signed the bottom of this poster in black Sharpie. Fourth, is a wicker and orange mesh Orioles trucker cap, featuring the Orioles swinging bird logo. Ripken signed the brim of this cap in black Sharpie.

      The next item is a black batting helmet signed by Ripken on the brim in silver Sharpie. The logo is the full bird logo used from 1989 to 1998. Next is a Rawlings official American League baseball bearing the stamped signature of American League President Gene A. Budig. Ripken signed the ball, which includes a “Ripken 8” logo, in blue ballpoint pen on the sweet spot.

      The next item is a Cal Ripken Jr. commemorative “Baseball Record Breakers” plate. This plate features four illustrations of Ripken at Camden Yards and a large, orange “2131” indicating his consecutive games played record. Ripken signed this plate in black pen.

      Finally, this lot has two signed Cal Ripken baseball cards. The first, from the Upper Deck 1991 series features Ripken at the end of his swing exiting the batter’s box. He signed this card in black Sharpie. The second card is an “AuthenTicket” special edition Ripken card. It is signed in black Sharpie pen by Ripken. This entire lot has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
