Presented are two pieces of the operatic group The 3 Tennors. The trio gained popularity during the 1990’s and early 2000’s and were notable for performing on the eve of the 1990 FIFA World Cup Final on July 7 1990. The resulting recording of this performance gained the group great notoriety, having been amongst the best selling classical albums of all time. The first piece includes an official program booklet of their 1996/97 World Tour. The book measures 13 x 9 ½ inches, and features the trio on the front cover. The second page is signed in black ink by Placido Domingo, a member of the trio. The second piece features a caricature print of the trio, by Al Hershfield. It stand 11 x 14 inches and features Placido Domingo’s signature written in blue ink across the bottom portion of the picture. This entire lot has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
