This collage, which features memorable moments from the Mets season arranged to form the numbers “1986”, features the signatures of many great Mets. Included on this collage are the signatures of Hall of Famer Gary Carter, Doc Gooden, Lenny Dykstra, Darryl Strawberry, Ray Knight, Wally Backman, Keith Hernandez, and more. This piece is signed in silver Sharpie pen and features the text “World Series Champions” beneath the large “1986.” The last Mets team to win a World Series, the 1986 squad is regarded among Mets fans as one of the greatest teams to have played at Shea Stadium.
