Offered here is a lot of three items, two of which are signed by Lou Piniella and one of which bears the signatures of “Sweet Lou” and Arnold Palmer. The first item, a cream colored vanity license plate with red text reading “Sweet Lou/92”. Piniella signed the license plate in black Sharpie as “Sweet” Lou Piniella. The second item is a nameplate from the 2008 All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium, where Piniella, then the manager of the Cubs, and was one of the coaches for the National League team. Piniella signed his name in silver Sharpie, and inscribed “All-Star Game 2008”, also in silver Sharpie. The final item in this lot is a photograph of Lou Piniella and Arnold Palmer at the Bay Hill Country Club 1988 Member-Guest Tournament. Piniella is looking dapper in a purple Lacoste Polo shirt, standing next to Arnold Palmer and a third man. Palmer and Piniella both signed the photograph in black Sharpie, with Palmer also inscribing “To Lou/Best Regards”. This entire lot has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
