Presented is a game used and signed Los Angeles Dodgers catcher’s helmet worn by Hall of Famer Mike Piazza. One of the best offensive catchers in MLB history, Piazza made a name for himself playing most notably for the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers. This featured catcher’s helmet was from his time as a Los Angeles Dodger. The catcher’s helmet is an Authentic Diamond Collection size 7 3/8, American Baseball Cap Co. The “LA” logo on the front displays a warped “L”, and has his “31” on the brim. The helmet has various scratches and scuff marks all throughout the helmet. On the left side, (right of the logo) is Piazza’s signature written in bold silver ink. This helmet comes with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and a COA from PSA/DNA (4A10586). Please note that JT Sports titled their LOA as a "Batting Helmet", however in their conclusion it was determined that this "helmet would have been worn by Piazza while catching."
