Presented here are two bats used by New York Yankees outfielders Melky Cabrera and Brett Gardner. The first bat is a Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick 456B model bat used by Cabrera during the 2006 season. 2006 was Cabrera’s first full big league season, and he impressed with a .270 batting average and 26 stolen bases. This black ash bat features engraved text reading “Melky ‘Way’” in silver text on the barrel. This bat is uncracked and shows moderate use. This bat comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (1B10910).

The second bat, a Louisville Slugger O69 model bat, was used by Gardner during the 2010 season. That season Gardner batted a then-career high .277 with five home runs, 47 RBI, and 47 stolen bases. This ash bat is uncracked and shows moderate to heavy use. Pine tar staining is present between the barrel and the handle. Gardner signed the barrel of the bat in black Sharpie, adding the inscription “Game Used 2010.” This item comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (1B10911), which assigns the bat a GU 9 rating. There is a PSA/DNA COA (AB73583) for the signature.
