Featured in this lot are two Sports Illustrated magazines signed by Hall of Famers and former New York Rangers’ Wayne Gretzky and Mark Meisser. The first magazine displays Gretzky in his Rangers blue jersey waving towards the crowd without his helmet, the magazine has the caption: “It’s Been Great” above Gretzky. The second magazine depicts Meisser in full stride skating his way passed a defender, and the magazine is captioned: “Captain Marvelous” in the center. Both magazines are signed in bold blue marker ink at the bottom of the magazine, and come with a COA from PSA/DNA (K10754 for Gretzky) and PSA/DNA STICKER ONLY (K50199 for Messier).
