Offered here is a lot of two signed World Series official programs, from 1977 and 1978. The programs are signed by the Most Valuable Players from each series, Reggie Jackson in 1977 and Bucky Dent in 1978. The 1977 program, which features the Commissioner’s Trophy in front of a red background, is signed by “Mr. October” in blue Sharpie. Jackson clubbed five home runs and had eight RBI in the 1977 Series, which the Yankees won in six games over Tommy Lasorda and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 1978 edition is signed in silver Sharpie by Bucky Dent, who affixed his signature above a full color photograph of the Yankees’ championship ring from that World Series. Dent earned the 1978 World Series MVP award by hitting a stellar .417 in a second consecutive 4-2 series win against the Dodgers. Both of these programs come with a JSA COA (K42952-Jackson, J83631-Dent).
