Offered here is a lot of three issues of Life magazine featuring Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, and Ted Williams on their respective covers. The first magazine chronologically is from September 1st, 1941. The cover photo is of a smiling Ted Williams holding a bat over his left shoulder. This magazine, issued during the season where Williams hit .406 and slugged 37 home runs, is signed by Williams in blue pen in the space over his right shoulder.

      The second magazine, the August 1st 1949 issue, features a beautiful black and white portrait of a grinning Yankee Clipper Joe DiMaggio, with his signature scrawled along the bottom in black pen. This photo was taken during his abbreviated 1949 season, where he only appeared in 76 games yet was named to his 11th All-Star team and finished 12th in Most Valuable Player voting.

      The third magazine is the last chronologically, issued on July 30th, 1965. The image on the cover is a vibrant color photograph of an aging Mickey Mantle posing in one of the Yankees road grays. The magazine features Mantle’s signature in black pen and is titled “Mantle’s Misery”. All three of these items come with individual PSA/DNA LOAs (Z00217: Williams, Z00213: DiMaggio, Z00215: Mantle).
