Offered here is a lot of three wooden hockey sticks signed and inscribed by “Mr. Hockey” Gordie Howe. A hockey legend, Howe’s career lasted until he was 51 years old and played an incredible 2,186 professional hockey games. Howe scored the second most NHL goals of all time, 801, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1972. His number 9 hangs from the rafters of Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. Howe won six Hart Trophies and made 25 NHL and WHA All-star teams.
These three Northland Pro sticks are all Howe’s personal model and bear his signature on the blade. Howe, an ambidextrous player, was famed for his ability to play with a straight bladed stick, allowing him to shoot the puck with either hand. Howe signed his name in black Sharpie pen.
