Presented here is an autographed program guide of the legendary boxing fight between “Marvelous” Marvin Hagler and Thomas “Hit Man” Hearns. Billed as “The War”, the fight between Hagler and Hearns is considered a classic by boxing fans and analysts alike; for its build up, back and forth exchanges, as well as its devastating finish. Hagler would go on to be victorious that night, winning by a third round knockout, with a viscous right and follow up uppercuts.
This program guide is signed by both fighters. Hagler has signed his name in blue ink, inscribing his nickname “Marvelous” over his signature. Hearns’ signature can be found under, written in black ink. This piece stands 11 x 8 ½ inches, and is an extraordinary condition, with no visible scuffs, tears or folds. This guide comes laminated and includes a JSA COA (P84482).
