Holiday Auction Closing December 3
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/4/2016
Offered is a 26-card partial set of N366 Lone Jack "Language of Flowers" non-sports cards issued in 1888. These enchanting and sublime floral depictions, even though they're reputed to have been distributed overseas as well as in the American market, are particularly scarce in today's hobby. Includes: Ambrosia, American Cowslip, Amethyst, Austrian Rose, Champion Rose, Chinese Primrose, Daisy, Eglantine, Eschscholtzia, Honeysuckle, Lilac, Lily of the Valley, Magnificent Beauty, Malon Greeana, Oak Leaved Geranium, Orange Blossom, Oxlip, Peach, Pink (Red Double), Red Camellia Japonica, Red Chrysanthemum, Shepherd's Purse, Sunflower, Sweet William, Water Lily and White Camellia. Presents mostly at the GD to VG level, but technically grade lower due to most all of them having pencil markings on the front or back damage.
