This piece painted by legendary sports artist Dick Perez portrays Baseball Hall of Famer Johnny Mize. Having played for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants, and the New York Yankees, Mize was a 10-time All-Star and won five World Series Championships. This watercolor portrait captures Mize in his St. Louis Cardinals uniform with sleeves rolled and his bat over his left shoulder. This portrait stands 19 x 23 inches and is matted and framed with Perez’s signature on the lower right underneath Mize’s elbow. This piece was featured on a 1985 Donruss Super Bubble Gum Box which featured eight different Hall of Famers on the back of each box. An example of the box is included.
