Offered in this lot is a Philadelphia 76ers 1980s style red mesh road jersey signed by “Dr. J” Julius Erving. The jersey is red with red, white, and blue collar, and sleeve-ends tackle twill. “ERVING” is sewn on in all white tackle twill, and his number “6” is sewn on in white and blue tackle twill. On the front is “SIXERS” and “6” in blue and white tackle twill as well. The large jersey was autographed by the ABA four-time MVP and sixth highest scorer in ABA and NBA history and Erving’s signature can be located on the player number on the back of the jersey in black marker. The signature and jersey are in excellent condition and comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (V29253).
